Big Data Sources Reflection

Big Data Sources Reflection

I viewed two TED Talks, “Why Privacy Matters” by Glenn Greenwald and “Your Smartphone is a Civil Rights Issue” by Christopher Soghoian. I also read the article by Laura Syndell, “Is It Even Possible to Protect Your Privacy On Facebook?”. I believe I may incorporate all of these sources into my essay on Big Data. But they’re on the brink of a mental-health crisis.” I agree with much of what Twenge talks about where independence has been…

These context collapses happen much more frequently in networked publics” (31). “I felt ostracized and misunderstood at school, but oline I could portray myself as the person that I wanted to be” (37). “..an onlooker could easily take what seemed like a funny quiz out of context”…

Ted Talk Summary

In the Ted Talk, “What I Learned From 100 Days of Rejection”, Jia Jiang discusses rejection. At 6 years old, he vividly remembers his first moment of rejection.
